Astronomy, a Great Hobby

Technology in Our Homes: Physics in Our Lives

Did you know there is 60 year old technology in your DVD player? The laser used to read information off the disk, was discovered/invented in 1960. It was theorized by Max Planck and Albert Einstein. Lasers have revolutionized our world and improved our lives. They were discovered and perfected by physicists. Physicists are people who study physics and use their knowledge in a large variety of ways. If you are interested in studying physics contact your advisor for more information.
